Laura Caruthers, clarinet, is an active performer and educator. Major clarinet teachers include Dr. Richard Faria at Ithaca College, Dan Silver at the University of Colorado Boulder, and Janet Hilton at The Royal College of Music in London, England.  She can be heard playing in various community ensembles and pit orchestras throughout Connecticut. In addition to her private studio, Laura is currently Band Director at Old Saybrook Middle and High Schools.
